Think About What You Think About Февраль 22, 2011

»God can do … far more than you could ever imagine» Ephesians 3:20

The story goes that the king of Saudi Arabia hooked up with a famous golfer. Before the man returned home the king said, ‘I’d like to give you a gift. Anything you want; name it.’ Politely, the golfer said he didn’t need anything. But because the king insisted, he gave in: ‘Well, Your Highness, I collect golf clubs.’ He imagined unwrapping a gold putter or a diamond-studded driver. Imagine his shock weeks later when he got a letter containing the deed to a 2,000-acre golf club! Paul says, ‘God can do … far more than you could ever imagine… in your wildest dreams.’ Kings don’t think like we do. They don’t bust a blood vessel over what’s in the treasure chest, because the treasure chest has more than you could ever imagine. ‘Course, you know Jesus’ nickname don’t you? That would be ‘King of Kings’ — which means He has the treasure chests of all treasure chests. And because He’s your mate, He wants to share the loot. God’s plan for you far outweighs owning your own personal golf course. So go on, what kind of good things can you imagine? (We’re not talking about winning the lottery or X Factor or anything that’s going to drive a huge wedge between you and God, here.) Now double them, quadruple them, and you’re still not close to what God has for you — if you’ll believe. Expect the best and you’ll get the best, and more. Ucb booklet
