Boaz finding Ruth is one of my favorite love stories in the history of humanity. Though many would argue with me and say that finding love is like chasing the wind and an elusive dream and believe you me I am no expert to love and in love, but the few years I have lived on planet earth have been full of countless and precious and worthy lessons on a lot of topical issues to life. Talking about the love of a lifetime many schools of thoughts and theories have been spoken of written when it comes to stumbling on the love that we all cherish and long for. But allow me to approach it from another angle as I open my heart and pour it in black and white, how that life still is the master teacher when it comes to finding true love.

The foundational scripture that I’d like to begin with is 1 John 4:19, «We love God because He FIRST LOVED us.» Do you see the significance of those words? We didn’t chase after God. No, he chased after us. He lured us into a relationship with Him. Romans 3:11 tells us that no one seeks after God without him first seeking after them. It was God who waited at the well to talk with the woman who had already lived with seven men and the man she was with wasn’t even her husband. It was God who asked the questions and then provided the answers that would bring about her deliverance and change her life. That day as she made her way to the well, she wasn’t thinking about whether she would have an meet with God today, no, she was going to get water. But God knew in advance that she would be there and he waited. Then he wooed her with his words.

To my precious Single women friends, how often is this scenario in reverse for you. You get all doled up and go to this or that event, hoping and praying that Mr. Right will find you? I remember growing up my sister at one time confided to me if she can get just a man to give her children she would be happy because she was getting tired by the day of waiting for love, many have died and lived disappointed but hold on for a while and listen to me as you read through this article. Do you ever leave feeling disappointed, especially if you go to a Christian singles’ event and there are 50 women for every one man. The odds really aren’t in your favor.

But I want you to make a shift in your consciousness today. I want you to see the development of a true love relationship, a godly love relationship in a whole new light. I want you to see a love relationship that mimics the relationship that God had with Israel, a prophet had with a prostitute, and Jesus has with the church.

Did you know that God’s relationship with the children of Israel in the Old Testament shows the love that a man is supposed to have for his mate? Are you aware that over and over and over and over in the Bible that God pursued the children of Israel only to be rejected again and again and again? Passage after passage throughout in the Old Testament is God pleading for the children of Israel to love and follow him because He wanted to bless them. Anyone who says God isn’t patient or merciful hasn’t read the Bible. He never gave up; he still hasn’t. These were his people and He loved them despite their bad behavior. All he ever wanted was for them to return and embrace his love.

In fact, he also used the story of Hosea to further depict his love and faithfulness to his people. God put an unconditional love in Hosea’s heart for a prostitute, Gomer and told him to marry her. In Hosea 3:1, God told Hosea, «Love her as the Lord loves the Israelites.» Hosea took Gomer to his home and gave her everything he had. He was crazy over her. But her old ways and life would lure her back into the streets and the arms of other men. Yet, that did not stop Hosea from finding his woman and bringing her back home. That’s how much he loved her.

Did you know that the relationship between Jesus and the church is our model for marriage? The Bible says that «we» are the bride of Christ. In Mark 2:20 Jesus refers to himself as the bridegroom. And because of his love for us, he stepped off his throne in heaven, lived on earth for about 30 years where he was ridiculed and rejected, and then died violently on a cross to restore our relationship back to God so that we could live eternally with Him. Revelations 19:7-9 and 21:1-2 tells about the final wedding that will take place. We are told that at the second coming of Christ, the official wedding ceremony will begin and the eternal union of Christ and his bride (us) will become a reality.

Well as I continued to prepare my writing of this article the Lord spoke to my spirit and said, that if a man is not as crazy and devoted to you as Christ is to the church and God was to the Children of Israel, he is not your bridegroom but a hireling, a fake. Wow! We loved God because HE first loved us. Ladies you are to love the man in our life because «he» first loved you, not because you manipulated, coerced, seduced, or even threatened him in marrying you. As women, you are to be receivers, not chasers. God created the man to choose, to pursue, and to love you and not the other way around. Ephesians 5:25 tells men to love their wives as Christ loved the church. But unfortunately, a role reversal has taken place and women have begun to aggressively chase after men and use any and all means to get them. Ladies, you may get a man, but he won’t be your bridegroom! When God does the choosing he will send him correct and He will put a love in his heart for you that will last longer than a flicker in the night.

I have personally known of men who waited for a woman for YEARS because they knew that woman was the one God had for them; they had eyes for no other. It didn’t matter how cute someone else was, their hearts were taken. Often times the women couldn’t see it. They just weren’t interested at all, but God began to do a work in their heart as well and these marriages are just as strong today as they were years ago.

I know I’m going to sound a bit out there now, but I’m going to say it anyway. Ladies, if the man in your life is not crazy about you, can’t stop thinking about you, doesn’t nurture and cherish you, doesn’t love buying you little things to see you smile, and if that man in your life wouldn’t die for you, he’s not your bridegroom. He is a fake and he’ll never love you like a true groom would. Now you can settle for him just to have somebody and not be alone, but just be clear what you’re doing. However, if you want God’s best, then wait for God to bring him to the well of your heart. Let him ask you for a drink of water but all along his true intentions are to water you with his love, to woo you, and to take you as his own.

Now married to women, your man may have started out thinking you were the cream in his coffee but because of the little foxes that were swept under the rug and not exposed and dealt with, a wall may have surfaced between you. It’s time to cleansing your relationship from everything that stands between you and your man and get those sparks flying again. So don’t despair, just start doing that mental and spiritual cleaning that is blocking the love between you from flowing freely. However, if you settled for a hireling, you may have to work harder to cultivate love and passion in your relationship, but with God all things are possible.

Now to all the men, I told you that you can glean from this article as well because if the woman in your life doesn’t make you a little «coo coo,» when you think about her then she probably isn’t the one either. I believe that when God presents that woman in your life you will eat, breath, dream, and sleep her. You won’t be able to get her out of your mind. It’s like thoughts about her will haunt you, in a good way of course. And yes, you would give her your all, up to the point of your own life. Your love for her will represent the love that Jesus has for the church and God for his people.

Therefore, single women if you are in a relationship and with a man, in which, you are always questioning whether he loves you, you don’t know his intentions, and you are carrying the bulk of relationship, run away, don’t walk. This man is «just not that into you.» Your bridegroom and your Boaz won’t have any problem showing you and telling you how he feels.

Lastly, be patient and as you learned in life`s lessons, learn to have a relationship with yourself and be fun, confident, and a joy to be around. Then one day when you least expect it, he’ll be right there waiting for you and you thought you were just going to buy some lettuce.

Bishop J-m Gilson-Levi

the gospel is simple, religious has made it difficult to understand, we tent to made our church members some sort of theologians knowing Hebrew, Greek and all the history but not knowing the Lord, we tent to have now in our church the most literate people, thinking so much and analyzing the wording… but now we neglected the basic, preaching the message to the world,healing the sick, sending the captive free… we are so complicated on our message under the cover of so called revelations, that no one growth spiritually no more, the church is becoming a mess, so dirty that we are not able to clean it ourselves..l. the most successful evangelist in this generation had a simple message , based on cross, resurrection, blood, repentance and baptism… not about all the Jewish feasts, the way to be rich, the theology, scatology and all other secondary matters, let us preach salvation, justification,purification,sanctification in other words the FAITH.
be blessed

Rabih Khreizat

The meditation is after the verse

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to Christ. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Colossians 2: 8-10 (NKJV)

Colossiens 2: 8-10

Meditation التأمل

There are people in the world and some TV programs talks about the psychic nature of human beings and the way of living and how to do that, and most of them uses religious ideas from India, China or Japan and some ancient or secret religions to find a way to solve people programs. And there are these actors and influenced people in the society and around the world declare their new religion by going to buddhism or new age or other religions and weird fraternalisms that shows as if it have genuine and historic roots.

And these things spread fast because it speaks to people emotions and because it is new for them. For the normal human being had problems with Christianity as in religion and rituals because they couldn’t understand the Spirit in it and only looked at the problems, the divisions and laws which evolved through generations and became either suffocating. And I don’t blame them, because the law came to a place bounding people to care for deeds, rituals and pleasing the church, rather than focusing their hearts to God’s purpose for their lives and work with it.

Dear, Christianity is not one of the religions, or a man or group of people put its laws. Christianity is The Truth that no one can mess with. Notice with me here, all the religions and cults of the world is fighting the cross, resurrection and the Devine nature of Jesus Christ, and if they approved one they will dismiss the others and doubt it. And all this for one thing, the number one enemy of human beings is the devil and nothing can destroy his plans and traps accept the blood and salvation of Jesus Christ. So do not be taken by the philosophy and empty deceit of the world whatever the person’s value and scientific level, for all who speaks against the crucifixion and salvation of the living God Jesus Christ, is a liar and a puppet in the hand of the devil the father of all liars.

Prayer صلاة

Save us for the lies of this world LORD, lead us into Your knowledge and truth and protect our minds and thoughts from every false teaching and philosophy. Make us firm in Your truth, to be the light for the nations to disgrace the wisdom of the wise. In the name of Jesus Christ the living God. Amen.

timacy With God

They Can Tell You’ve Been With Jesus
| By Mike Bickle

Years ago while speaking to a group of new Christians, I noticed a beautiful, young, blonde girl across the room. I flipped out! I had never felt such intense emotions as those that filled me when I gazed across the room at Diane, the girl who was to become my wife. On our first date I was amazed that she seemed to share my feelings, and we became engaged after just one date.

My deep love for Diane and my desire to be with her helped me understand the love Christ feels for His bride. The prayer He prayed just before His death, recorded in John 17, is especially revealing. He said, «Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am» (v. 24, NKJV). Here was my Lord, only hours before His agonizing death on Calvary, crying out to the Father with intense cravings for His bride—for me!

He was consumed with love for His bride and longed to have her with Him for eternity.

Toward the end of the prayer the focus changes from …. {Read more}

Help! My Husband Is an Intercessor! | By Eddie Smith

«Could you come down out of the heavenlies long enough to give me a hand with this dirty laundry?»

Have you ever uttered those words in your home? Some wives have trouble pulling their husbands away from the TV set. Others struggle to keep them from bringing work home from the office. But a growing number of women these days are asking: «How do I deal with my husband, the intercessor?»

First, let me congratulate you women who are married to intercessors. Of all the ministries to which a man could …. {Read more}

Knowing God
God’s Passionate Love
| By Sam Storms

What does God think about when He thinks about you? When God meditates on you in His heart, what does He feel? When God focuses His eyes on your soul, what does He see? When God opens His mouth to speak of you, what does He say?

Perhaps many of you would answer those questions like this: He thinks badly of me; He feels repelled by me. He sees all my ugliness, and He says, Yuk!

Nothing could be further from the truth! Notwithstanding what …. {Read more}

The Lowe-Down
 Are You Addicted to S_ _? | By Valerie G. Lowe

Several years ago my friend mustered up the nerve to tell me about her struggle with lust. Even though she wasn’t dating anyone, she was afraid her fixation would eventually seduce her into having premarital sex.

Thinking about her problem made me want to blog about premarital sex, a topic I believe the church often shuns. But why? Christian singles have sex or want to have sex too. And though the Bible prohibits such behavior, that hasn’t stopped believers from going too far.

Sadly, some Christian singles behave as if there are no consequences to sex outside of marriage—but there are. Dr. Freda McKissic Bush, a Christian, a board-certified OB-GYN and co-author of Hooked: New Science on How Casual Sex Is Affecting Our Children, says premarital sex and extramarital affairs can unleash a host of …. {Read more}

Grieve Not the Holy Spirit

Daily my heart is cleaving more closely to Christ and getting more detached from earthly objects. The weaning process is going on. I find the closer I get to the heart of Infinite Love—the nearer to the Son of Righteousness—the more sensitively do I feel, to my heart’s deepest core, everything that is contrary in spirit, word or action to the law of love.

If we do, indeed, get nearer to the Son of Righteousness, we cannot help but see with greater vividness …. {Read more}

Fueling the Fire
Finding Security in the Father
| By Brenda J. Davis

We’ve likely had many opportunities to learn that seeking acceptance from anyone other than God is sinful, not to mention futile. But the hurts we experience in life can sometimes leave us feeling such rejection that we become desperate for people’s approval. This sets us up for more heartache since no one can consistently give us the kind of approbation we need.

No human being can accurately assess our worth. Only our Creator …. {Read more}

What Does a Real Christian Man Look Like? 7 мая, 2009

What Does a Real Christian Man Look Like?

STORY1~1One of the many interesting topics that comes up in my current line of work is the debate over what it really means to be a Christian man. I hear it from people I interview, from people who comment and write in, and from articles and blog posts.

You’d be surprised at the wide range of opinions that exist on this subject. Obviously this debate has existed for a long time, but it seems that it’s really come into its own since Promise Keepers made it a national topic in the secular media.

Everyone agrees on the problem. Modern Western culture really has a problem figuring out a wholesome masculine image. Traditional gender roles have been turned on their heads in the last 100 years. The feminist movement went from a well-intentioned stand for female rights to an extremist liberal group that is often out of control. Divorce rates and other issues have caused millions of men to grow up without strong father figures, which in turn has led to a generation of fathers trying to figure things out for themselves.

As the body of Christ, we know that our culture has lost a wholesome image of masculinity, but we disagree on the way to get it back. There’s a whole gamut of opinions about this, but I’ve identified some of the most popular. See if any of these ring a bell:

The «Wild» Christian Men: These are the John Eldredge «let’s go camping with nothing but shorts and a knife while we eat raw meat and hug each other around a fire» guys. Wild At Heart and Eldredge’s other books have had a huge influence on the men’s movement, with an emphasis on following the sense of adventure God has placed in your heart. It’s an appeal that really hits men on an emotional level and makes it OK for us to want to live out our dreams as Maximus or William Wallace. Eldredge and those like him have really hit home with a lot of Christian guys out there, but critics often cite a lack of biblical foundation among these outdoorsy types. Which lead us to our next group …

The Smart Christian Men: These are the guys who will critically take apart any other take on the men’s movement through their powerful reasoning and superior hermeneutics. Biblical scholarship and intelligence are the keys here, and everyone else who talks about Christian masculinity is just brutish. Check out blogger Phil Johnson’s post on Christian masculinity for a good example. It is proper theology and living that are the main message here, none of this rough-and-rugged stuff. Which would, of course, be the opposite of …

The Christian Men on Steroids: Similar to the «Wild» Christian men group, but more extreme, this movement has popped up in the past five years or so. Much of this movement, which is based on the ideas of Eldredge but goes further, focuses on the «sissification» of the church over the last 100 years and how we need to remake churches to appeal specifically to men. Check out Church for Men for an example. These guys want to sing worship songs about battles and conquest; they want short sermons because real men don’t like to sit and listen, they like to do. They also focus on activities and service.

Obviously all these different groups have good intentions, and many of them emphasize different aspects of masculinity. So how do we balance them? How do we get the active service, the solid theology and the emotional appeal of all the groups? What does the ultimate, ideal Christian man look like?

That would be Jesus.

Its funny how the source of our faith seems to get lost in the debate among various Christians. Although each group claims a different aspect of Christ, I keep looking to the gospels to see the ideal godly man. Jesus had it all. Want solid thinking? How about constantly answering questions by quoting Scriptures and providing revelations from the Old Testament. Want a strong man? How about a guy who can spend 40 days in the desert without food, or sacrifice Himself for the salvation of everyone? Want a balanced man? How about a guy who treated women with more respect than anyone in His day and age.

I’ve almost always found that the best answers in Christianity are the most simple ones. If you want to know how to be the best Christian man you can be, look to Jesus.
