You need to forgive to be forgiven. There is no if’s or buts. You cannot expect forgiveness from God the Father if you don’t forgive others. Have a look at these verses in the photo below, then go read Matthew 18:21-35.

It’s a very serious thing in the Fathers eyes when dealing with forgiveness. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour, this means all your sin has been forgiven you. In the same way, we are to respond in forgiving EVERYONE their sins they have committed against you.

I know forgiveness is a hard thing for some people, actually for a lot of people, but it’s a MUST do if we want to serve the Lord. I know you may be going through pain, things that people have or are still doing to you, but the only person unforgiveness, resentment, hatred and so on hurts is YOU. The person you have unforgiveness for and so on does not feel the anger you are feeling, only you do, so why let it fester inside of you. It will only eat you up and draw you away from true happiness in Jesus.

EVERYONE will have to stand Infront of Jesus some day, whether they believe in him or not, it doesn’t matter. We will all have to give an account for our actions, thoughts and words, both the saved and the unsaved. So why not leave it to Jesus today, let him handle the pain, pray to the Father and ask him to help you forgive those who have hurt you, just as he has forgiven you.

Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Now think about that for a minute. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING can separate you from the love the Father has for you. If all else fails, remember God the Father is always with you. God said he would never leave you or forsake you

Deuteronomy 31:6…..Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Matthew 28:20…..He is with you always, even to the end of the age.

This life has and always will have problems, there is no getting away from them, but if we trust in the Lord, that problem is halved immediately. I can’t count how many times in my life I’ve been at rock bottom and can’t see any way out, but when I look back on them now, seeing the whole situation, I can see where the Lord was at work in them. We need to stop listening to the enemy and start believing what the word of God says. When God speaks to us through his word, he is not doing it as a hobby or a pass time, he is declaring his promises over you. You need to be speaking these promises over yourself each day, declare them over your situation and your family and believe them to be true. Most importantly, and this is essential, you MUST place the armour of God on each morning. You can do this by reading below.

Ephesians 6:10-18…..Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

By putting this on you will have great resistance against the enemy.

1 John 3:17……But whoever has this world’s goods (has plenty, more than enough, overwhelmed) and sees his brother in need (doesn’t even have the basics) and shuts up his heart from him (keeps it all to himself, not willing to share, is greedy) how does the love of God abide in him?

The bible tell us in 1 Corinthians 13, if we don’t have love, then we have absolutely nothing. Sometimes the richest people are the poorest and most miserable because they dont want to spend money and are constantly in fear of losing the riches they have. You may think your rich in this world if you have money in the bank, but do you really. Alls it is, is numbers. You gain money, the bank balance number in your bank goes up, you loose money and it goes down, you dont physically have that cash, its just a number. Who has the better life, the poor man who has food in his stomach, a roof over his head, warm clothes and is content, or the rich man who has exactly the same but is constantly worrying about his finances and is miserable?

Be grateful for all you have today, never take anything for granted. If you see someone struggling and you have the means to help then help them. The bible tells us this….

Matthew 6:19-21…..Do not store up for yourselves treasures (money, gold, silver) on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures (good works, helping people, where you will be rewarded after this life) in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Is there someone you know could do with a little help today, if so, help them. The rewards of giving are far greater that those of taking.

Are you serving the Lord out of fear, or out of love 19 января, 2024

Are you serving the Lord out of fear, or out of love. The bible tells us this….

1 John 4:18……There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.

The punishment it talks about here is the person being fearful because they know they are not walking right with the Lord. They are scared to death of going to hell. The bible also says this….

Isaiah 26:3…..You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you!

The only way you can have that peace from God, is if your in a place where you are constantly trying to keep yourself right. Does this mean you won’t mess up here and there? No it doesn’t, it simply means to keep your eyes fixed on God, the things that please him. If your serious about following Jesus, once you get focused on him, and do as he has asked you to do, you will find that peace as well. Pleasing him will actually make you feel better about yourself.

There is a fear talked about in the bible, but it’s a healthy fear, not one that should scare you half to death, it should be equally applied to your life and lifestyle as seen below…….

Proverbs 9:10…….The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

To fear the Lord is to acknowledge who he is and what he can do, to be grounded in him, knowing that he is constantly working on your behalf, as seen below.

Romans 8:28…..And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who LOVE him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Are you finding it hard to love the Lord? Join the club, so am I. I’m not going to lie about it or make me out to be someone who is holy. I’m constantly asking the Lord to help me fall in love with him, Jesus and his word. I know I don’t love Jesus like I should, if I did I’d be on fire for him everyday. God understands my circumstances and yours, he knows some of us have went through some crazy things and our hearts are a bit hardened. Just ask him each day to soften that heart of yours, little by little, bit by bit. One day there will be breakthrough, and when you ask him, say out loud, » I BELIEVE IT AND RECEIVE IT IN JESUS NAME «

The world is your enemy 19 января, 2024

You can’t be tempted with something you don’t think. If you would quit opening yourself up to envy, strife, division, and all the other negative things our society uses for «entertainment», Satan wouldn’t have those doors open into your life.

You see, the eyes are the window to the soul……..

Matthew 6:22-23……“The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

If the whole body is full of darkness, what good can come from it. The main stream media has contaminated this world, along with the music industry, with their lyrics and open Satanism they promote, and it’s your kids they are targeting, and they are doing a brilliant job of it. Do you know Satanists, real ones pray up to five hours through the night, EVERY night, when most Christians can’t pray for 20 minute once a day. The reason being the god of this world Satan, has sent all things to distract you.

If you don’t want to be tempted into sin, then get away from the situations that promote it. If you have certain friends which are pulling you into what you know isn’t right with God, then change your friends, if it’s your work, then pray for a new job. EVERYTHING and ANYTHING in this world is out to see you fail, because Satan and his demons are constantly scheming against you. Believe it or not, that is the simple truth. The bible tells us this…..

2 Corinthians 10:5…….We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

That just doesn’t mean every thought, it means every word, image deed and so on as well.

When will I ever be good enough for God? 19 января, 2024

The short answer is, you won’t. No matter what good you do in this life, how many people you help, how much charity work you do, how much money you raise for the poor, it will never be enough. Good people don’t go to heaven, saved people do. Think of it this way, if we could get to heaven by our good works, how unfair would that be. Take a rich man, lots of resources and wealth, he could easily help many. Then take a poor man who is struggling even to keep himself alive and hadn’t the means to help anyone. Should the rich man be more favoured and enter heaven ahead of the poor man? It wouldn’t be fair.

God doesn’t need your money or your skills, all he wants is a sincere heart. Everyday Christians beat themselves up when they slip up, for some reason they have it in their heads that failure is not an option. Well I’ve got news for you, its because of our failures that Jesus died on that cross that day, he had you in mind when he hung there. He could have easily had a legion of angels come and free him before those nails were battered through his skin, veins and muscle but he hung there in agonizing pain because he loves you.

Does this give us the right to go do as we please? Of course not, as a Christain you need to live in a way that fits his word (and I’m preaching to myself here as well). We mess up many times, its how you deal with that which counts, do you lay down and admit defeat or do you say Lord, I’m sorry and persevere on to win the race. Lets see what the bible says…..

Hebrews 12:1-2……Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders (getting rid of those things in your life that hold you back from being who God intended you to be, sinful acts) and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance (NEVER giving up, NEVER quiting) the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.

Look at where you used to be, way back when you were doing things that were not pleasing to God, then look where you are now, what a change. You forget what you have surrendered to God because your stuck focusing on the mess ups you have here and now. The apostle Paul said about himself that he was the chief of sinners, he still did things he didn’t like and he knew it displeased the Lord but the difference is he never gave up, he kept his eyes on the goal, he got straight back into it. This is what you need to do today, and not just today but everyday.

we must pray everyday for our kids, putting all the protection of Yahweh on them, Psalm 91:11, Job 1:10 Yahweh’s hedge of protection all about them, canceling out all assignments sent from the dark side against them in Yeshua’s name. Speaking scripture over their lives, believing and receiving it to happen in Yeshua’s name.

This has to be done each day……

Job 22:30…..He will even deliver one (unsaved) who is not innocent; Yes, he will be delivered by the purity of your hands.”

Purity meaning….How you walk with Yahweh (God), your commitment to him through your lifestyle.

Pray these over them…..

1 John 3:7

Job 22:30

Psalm 91:11

Jeremiah 29:11

Job 1:10

John 3:16

Psalm 23

Declare them in the name of Jesus.

If your trying your best to walk with God, you will be judged for every slip up you make. The reason being is when you follow Jesus, life changes, it gets real tough because you try to stop doing the things you did. The old you has gone and you become a new creation. You will fight with the old man/woman you used to be. This is because we have a sin nature. For example, do you have to teach a child to lie? When the child comes up to you with a face plastered in chocolate and you ask them, were you in the cookie jar? The child straight away will deny it and say no. Lying comes natural to us, that child wasnt taught it, it was already in him.

As you grow in your walk with Jesus, you will be attacked more and more because now you are becoming a threat to Satan and his demons. Satan isn’t worried about the Christian who doesn’t pray because he knows as long as they are not praying they are not exercising the power given to them through Christ……..

Luke 10:19…….Behold, I give you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

There is no such thing as failure, getting it wrong is just teaching you how to get it right. You will fail at times in this world and people will be quick to point the finger, but you are not of this world, your a citizen of heaven and even though you’ve decided to follow Jesus, you are still human and will still mess up at times. If your going through troublesome times today, get on your knees and give God thanks because it’s when you go through these times you are at your strongest……

2 Corinthians 12:10…..That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

People who believe they are getting it easy, don’t pray and without prayer nothing gets done. Those who are going through hard times are the ones who actually pray about what’s going on around them. This is what allows the Holy Spirit to move.

Keep keeping on, pay no attention to those who laugh and ridicule you, your a work in progress, one day you will make it, just don’t give up.

Let the past go 19 января, 2024

Phil 3:13……(KJV) Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Phil 3:13……(Amplified) I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet], but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

So what is moving forward? It means to forget the past, as the only place the past has, is in your memory. Stop putting yourself down, stop dwelling on things that are long gone. The bible says……

Psalm 118:24…..(KJV) This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Sure in the past you have failed, we all have, we’ve all done things that we are not proud of. Listen, if we were perfect, Jesus would never have had to die for us. Remember this, when Jesus was hanging on that cross, taking all that sin of ours in, he knew our failures, how knew we would mess up from time to time, but he still went through with it. He could have commanded many angels to come and get him, but he loves us so much that he went through with it.

The demons (yes the demons, not always Satan, who is given to much credit) will use your past as a weapon against you. They will constantly remind you of the things you are so looking to forget, they will bring you down anyway they can. They will make you feel useless and worthless. Let’s see what God’s word says about you…..

Psalm 139:14…..(KJV) I will praise thee; for I AM FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Jeremiah 29:11……(KJV) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, TO GIVE YOU AN EXPECTED END.

John 15:13…..(KJV) Greater love hath no man than this, that a man (Jesus) lay down his life for his friends (meaning you).

The bible tells us that Satan comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10), so when the demons come in and tell you all these lies, you can be guaranteed they are speaking their native language.

The past is the past, let it go, move on, get to grips with what is happening here and now. God is not concerned where you came from, he is more concerned about where you are going. So why not start fresh right now, a new beginning, as it says…..

One last thing, you need to put on the full armour of God each morning because without it you will struggle to stand. Read Ephesians 6:10-18 and speak out and ask God to place each part on. We are in a spiritual battle all the time and you need this armour on. If you don’t you are going into battle naked and the demons will come where they find no resistance.

Habitual sin 19 января, 2024

1 John 2: 3-4…..And we can be sure that we know him if we obey his commandments. If someone claims, “I know God,” but doesn’t obey God’s commandments, that person is a liar and is not living in the truth.

So if we love God, we keep his commandments. Does this mean we will never fail? Of course not, none of us are perfect, if we were then Jesus wouldn’t have had to die on the cross for us. What its saying here is, you have to give it your best, your all, you must always strive to keep to what the bible says. The person who lives for Jesus must not live in habitual sin, meaning walk into it without a struggle. Habitual sin is sin you don’t fight against, you don’t try to stand against. Jesus also said if you love him you will keep his commandments (John 14:15). In society today with the pressure of life and its distractions its hard to keep focused on his word, this is why each morning you need to put on the full armour of God (Ephesians 6:11). Imagine a soldier going out into battle naked, no gun, bullet proof vest, no boots, helmet and so on, this is what happens to the Christian when he faces the day without Gods armour on, he is defenceless against the attacks of the enemy. This is a real war, read Ephesians 6:12. Live each day like its your last as none of us are guaranteed tomorrow.
